Seen Privacy Policy

Celesta Games LTD ("Celesta Games," "we," "us," or "our") operates Seen, an AI companion application for adults. This policy explains what information Seen processes, why it is needed, and the choices available to you.

Seen is intended only for people aged 18 and older. Its companions are generated by artificial intelligence and are not people.

Information We Process

Seen does not require your email address, phone number, legal name, or social media account. The app creates an anonymous account identifier so your Seen data can be kept separate from other users.

We process the following information when you use the app:

• The anonymous account identifier and confirmation that the app's 18+ age gate was passed. Seen does not send your entered birth date to its servers.
• Profile details you choose to provide, such as a display name and pronouns.
• Companion settings, including names, appearance choices, relationship type, and personality traits.
• Messages you send, AI-generated replies, conversation summaries, and memories derived from conversations.
• If you subscribe to Seen Plus, subscription status and purchase history, such as the product, purchase and renewal dates, and whether the subscription is active. Payment is handled by Apple; we never receive your card or billing details.
• Operational information needed to run and secure the service, such as timestamps, request status, model usage, and error information. Hosting providers may also process network information such as an IP address as part of ordinary service and security logs.

How We Use Information

We use this information to:

• Provide conversations, companion customization, and memories.
• Maintain your selected companions and conversation history.
• Apply safety protections and prevent misuse.
• Operate, troubleshoot, and secure Seen.
• Provide Seen Plus and apply daily reply allowances.
• Respond to support, privacy, and legal requests.

We do not sell your personal information. Seen does not contain third-party advertising and does not use your information to track you across other companies' apps or websites.

AI and Service Providers

Seen uses service providers to operate the app. Conversation context and companion instructions are sent to an AI provider, currently OpenAI, to generate replies, summaries, and potential memories. Authentication and application data are handled through Supabase. Seen Plus subscriptions are purchased through Apple, and subscription status is managed with RevenueCat, which receives your account identifier and purchase records from Apple. Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers process data only as needed to run and secure the service.

These providers process information on our behalf under their applicable terms and data protection commitments. We do not provide Seen conversation data to advertising networks or data brokers.

Retention and Deletion

We retain your profile, companion configuration, conversations, summaries, and memories while your anonymous account remains active. Short-lived operational jobs and logs may be retained for a limited period for reliability, safety, and security.

Seen includes controls to export a conversation, delete a conversation, delete a companion, or delete the entire account. Account deletion removes the associated profile and relationship data. We may retain a minimal deletion or security record when necessary to complete deletion, prevent accidental recreation, meet legal obligations, or protect the service from abuse.

Your Privacy Choices

• Export or delete a conversation from that companion's settings.
• Delete a companion and its associated relationship data.
• Delete your anonymous account and server data from the app's Settings screen.
• Contact us at hello@celesta.games for privacy questions or assistance.

Because the account is anonymous, we may need information from the app or device to verify that a request relates to the correct account.

Adults Only

Seen is not directed to children and may not be used by anyone under 18. If you believe a person under 18 has provided information through Seen, contact us so we can investigate and remove it where appropriate.

Security and International Processing

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect Seen data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Our providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to applicable safeguards and legal requirements.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as Seen changes. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the date above. Material changes will be communicated when required by law.
